The Nihon Keizai Shimbun (October 8, 2025 edition) published an article about a paper that quantitatively clarified the changes in spectator behavior due to the stadium relocation and the resulting reduction in CO2 emissions .
On Wednesday, 25 September 2024, the "Sports Value Research Forum 2024" was held at Fukutake Hall, Hongo Campus, The University of Tokyo.
In the first part, Professor Kimura presented the results of research on the value of J-League clubs.
In the second part, Assistant Professor Inoue and UTokyo students Taiga Someya and Yuki Kanasugi introduced research cases related to sport and data. A panel discussion on the use of open data in professional sports was also held with former Hudl Japan manager Ryoichi Takabayashi, Elise Tokyo FC manager Ryo Yamaguchi, and SPOTV JAPAN COO Manabu Yamada.
